Description

The Buddy Bowl is made from FDA #1 non-toxic polyethylene.  The shape of the bowl helps keep dirt and bugs from contaminating the water while decreasing the amount of water that evaporates or spills.

Unique Three-Part Design

The base of the Buddy Bowl holds the water securely.  The second piece, the funnel-shaped drinking chamber, fits over the base. The opening at the bottom of the funnel allows water in to provide a continuous supply of fresh water.  The funnel also has a valve at the top that shuts when flipped upside down and prevents water from leaking out.  The lid keeps contaminants out but is shaped to hold the water from the funnel when the bowl flips upside down.

Cleaning and Assembly

To open:

• Place bowl on firm, level surface.
• Push down on the center of the funnel with your fist.
• Use your other hand to pull up on the tab of the lid.
• Clean with soapy water or place in the dishwasher.

To reassemble:

• Place the base on a firm, level surface.
• Snap in the funnel.  Make sure it seats into the base all the way around.
• Snap the lid on top.
• Fill the center of the bowl with water.  It will slowly equalize.  Do not add water past the fill line in the funnel.
• Alternative:  You can add water to the base of the bowl first, then assemble.  If you choose this method, make sure you do not overfill the bowl.  This may take some trial-and-error and is not recommended for first time assembly.
