I didn’t get an order confirmation.  What should I do?   

Check your spam or junk mail folder.  For some strange reason spam filters love to hide the evidence of your shopping sprees.  

How do you ship?

We ship most packages USPS Priority Mail.  Orders are usually processed within 1-3 business days.

Packages can be shipped UPS if requested, but additional shipping charges may apply.  The total for these charges may not be known until after the package is shipped/delivered. This is due to changes in UPS pricing that occur after packages are delivered.   

What is your return policy?

Products may be returned if the product is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered.  Return requests must be made within 30 days of purchase. We must be notified of the return before you ship and are not responsible for return shipping.  Products must be returned to us in the same condition they were shipped out.

Most new electronic products come with a one year warranty.  Please check the product description for individual manufacturer warranties.

Can you tell me more about the boots you sell?

Our boots are custom made by Yoder Nylon.  They sew the chaps onto the boots and then seal them to ensure they are waterproof.  Sewing the chaps on does void the manufacturer warranty on all boots, so any warranty claims must go through Yoder Nylon instead of the manufacturer (i.e. Muck, LaCrosse, Quatro, etc.).  

Each boot has sizing information on the page, along with chap sizing, but you can always call if you have any questions.

We rarely have trouble with the boots leaking.  Occasionally, however, a pair of boots will leak right out of the box.  (We’ve had it happen once in 8 years.) The boots must be returned to the manufacturer and tested before another pair can be sent out.  

I have a pair of boots at home that I love.  Can you have chaps put on those?

You can have chaps sewn on your favorite pair of hunting boots.  However, you will have to ship the boots to us and we send them in to the company. They will ship them back to you when they are finished.  In essence, you are paying for shipping 3 times, but you get good chaps on your favorite boots.

If this is an option you are considering, please contact us before shipping so that we can make sure we have all the pertinent information.  This is a phone/walk-in service only and is not an option on the website.

My boots are backordered.  What happens next?  

We place orders for backordered boots on Wednesday mornings.  From there, the company makes the boots and ships them. To save both time and shipping, Yoder Nylon will dropship all boots directly to you. As a result, we will not be able to provide tracking numbers for most backordered boots.  We can, however, call and ask them for that information if your package doesn’t arrive.

Why is there such a delay in processing and contacting the company on your boot orders?

Yoder Nylon is an Amish company.  They do not have email, computer access, or phones inside their home.  They call on Wednesday mornings so we can place orders. If we need anything from them on other days of the week, we have to call their answering service and wait for them to call back.  Sometimes this takes a little extra time, but we feel the quality of the product is worth the extra effort.

What if I have a backordered product that isn’t boots?  

We are always working to get all backordered products in stock.  Once your product arrives in the store, we will ship it out to you as soon as possible.

What do you do with my information?

Any information you share with us stays with us.  It will not be shared with any other company. We do not collect or track personal information.

Are you coming to a hunt near me?

We would love to, if time, children, and our other jobs permit.  We try to hit as many local hunts as we can through the year, and attempt to update the world on our shenanigans through our Facebook page.
